あらすじ

ラフトボール、それはラガーマシンと呼ばれる巨大ロボ、それを使って行われるアメフトやラグビーに似た競技。

 

右足不随の少年、上原宇佐美はふらっと立ち寄ったテックボール展覧会で、とあるラガーマシンに出会う。

 

そして翌日の試乗会、そこでラガーマシンに搭乗した彼は、テックボーラーの道を歩く事を決める。

 

これは後に、炎のランニングバックと呼ばれるテックボーラー、そしてそれを取り巻く周囲の人々の物語である。
